Day 01

USA TO VIENNA
  Depart New York's JFK airport to Vienna, Austria per non-stop direct flight on Austrian Airlines, economy class. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.
Day 02
Sat Aug 09
VIENNA
8:35 AM SCHOLA CANTORUM ON HUDSON arrives in Vienna and will be met by your English speaking tour guide and your driver.
9:15 AM Transfer by deluxe air-conditioned motor coach to your hotel and enjoy a Vienna city sight seeing tour en-route.
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Continue your guided city tour of Vienna with Ring Avenue, the Hofburg Palace, the Opera House, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Mozart's "Figaro House", City Hall and visit Schönbrunn Palace (entrance included).
  After the tour there is time for lunch on your own in the city centre and time to change money.
3:00 PM Check-in at hotel
Balance of the afternoon at leisure; time to rest (recommended time: no longer than 2 hours, this will ensure that participants will adjust to Central European time and overcome jet lag quickly.)
7:30 PM Welcome dinner and briefing with your guide

VIENNA - EISENSTADT - VIENNA
8:00 AM Buffet breakfast at hotel
9:00 PM After breakfast board your bus (Please bring concert attire and music)
Depart for the province of Burgenland and the evening concert in Bad Schönau.
  Arrive in Rohrau - see the birthplace of the world-famous composers Joseph and Michael Haydn, the Haydn Museum. Then continue to Eisenstadt - where Joseph Haydn lived for 30 years. Eisenstadt is the capital as well as the cultural and educational centre of the province of Burgenland. This charming Baroque town - its buildings influenced by the Prince Esterhazy dynasty - is Austria's smallest and youngest provincial capital. Eisenstadt had its heyday ithe 18th century when it was ruled by Prince Nikolaus Esterhazy.
See the Esterhazy Palace where Haydn conducted the court orchestra almost every evening, stop at Raiding, the birthplace of Franz Liszt and then, continue south to Bad Schönau.

VIENNA TO CESKY KRUMLOV
6:00 AM Buffet breakfast at your hotel
6:30 AM Depart for Cesky Krumlov via the Wachau Region, a UNESCO World Heritage area
7:55 AM Board MS Austria in Melk to start a river cruise on the Danube. You will see beautiful old villages, steep vineyards and medieval castles and see the medieval town of Dürnstein where King Richard Lionheart once was imprisoned.

11:00 AM Continue for Cesky Krumlov

Arrive in Salzburg - The stage of the world!
Art lovers call Salzburg the Golden City of High Baroque; historians refer to it as the Florence of the North, or the German Rome; and music lovers know it as the Festival City -- birthplace of Mozart and home of the world-famous Salzburg Festival.

10:00-12:00 AM Enjoy a guided city tour of Salzburg.
See the Dom, the Festival Hall, St. Peter's Abbey Church and its graveyards (tomb of Mozart's sister Nannerl) as well as Mozart's birthplace in the famous Getreidegasse. Enjoy the marvellous gardens of Mirabell Palace.
